Selfies became extremely common in our society and in our lives. We take selfies to register any kind of situation no matter if it is  happy or sad. During our last innovation session, students from grade 901 from Humberto Tafur Charry took selfies, printed them and made a poster with them and explained what each one was doing;  with this activity, they practiced the present continuous tense. They watched some videos in order to understand the selfie phenomenon and its impact inside of our society.
Although, students had some pronunciation mistakes, their effort was more important and
it was rewarding for me as a teacher see them trying to speak and enjoying the class.

Here's the video:

Interviews

Sofía Restrepo & Viviana Polo
901

Ninth graders tell us about who they are and what they want to be when they grow up. They answered to several questions such as "what do you want to be when you grow up? and what were you doing when Colombia won the match against Greece?"
Watch the video and listen to their interesting answers!

I imagine ...

Diego Perdomo - Ninth grade student.

Karol Rojas- Ninth grade student.

All of us have dreams, some of them seem too crazy to be true. We  imagine our dreams becoming true in the future and also, how our lives could be. Students from grade 901 at Humberto Tafur Charry High School talked about their dreams and wrote their them on a piece of paper.

Watch them say what they imagine! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TY-4jh1NiRU&feature=youtu.be

"You can't do it unless you can imagine it."

Ho do I get to ... ?

I recorded students of grade 901 from Humberto Tafur Charry High School telling me how to get to a certain art of the city. They draw the map, wrote the instructions using prepositions and typical expressions and then read what they had wrote.
